国庆返程杂记-乔布斯和宫崎骏

宫崎骏：人生就是一列开往坟墓的列车，路途上会有很多站，很难有人可以自始至终陪着走完，当陪你的人要下车时，即使不舍，也该心存感激，然后挥手道别。

[乔布斯：机器人生]

乔布斯：生命中总会发生一些事情，在工作、家庭和事业之外，就像硬币都有另一面，是一个道理。比起银行家，有些人更想当诗人，而我认为应用到产品上，也可以是一样的道理。这些产品同样可以进入生产线然后送到人们手中。然后他们会感到其中蕴含的精神。

Mac时代的项目总监Bob对逝去的乔布斯说：iPod、iPhone 、iPad都十分个性化，拿在手上是如此温暖，你孤单的时候它可以唱歌给你听。在我们相处的那三年里，我拥有的是十年或二十年的回忆。史蒂夫在他56岁的人生中，拥有了两世纪的分量。他做了所有他想做的事情，全部按照他的方式来做。你其实是有朋友的，你知道吗？即使他们是怪胎。

Lisa这么说乔布斯：他相信干旱才能导致丰收，束缚才能带来愉悦！

关于死亡和进化，乔布斯说：没有死亡 就没有进步。一开始我确信，生命没有死亡也能进化。接着我发现没有死亡，生命就无法做到最好。因为年轻一辈就不会有机会，那些年轻人并不知道世界在50年前是什么样子。但她们将以前视为今天，不带任何偏见，然后以此为基准，梦想着未来会是如何。

乔布斯说：生活中有各种各样的阻力试图把我们定义到一个制度和体系里，人们常常忘记他们是特殊的，有独特的情感。整个电脑行业都试图忘记人性的一面，去追求更高频率的CPU，更大的存储空间等等，这是对技术的狂热。但是你用这些来做什么呢？不仅仅是处理电子表格吧。
我们可以用更丰富的方式帮助别人表达自己的情感，比如音乐、电影、摄影，这是人们愿意做的事情。

Differences and Similarities Between Apple and Pixar Apple turns out many products--a dozen a year; if you count all the minor ones, probably a hundred. Pixar is striving to turn out one a year. But the converse of that is that Pixar's products will still be used fifty years from now, whereas I don't think you'll be using any product Apple brings to market this year fifty years from now. Pixar is making art for the ages. Kids will be watching Toy Story in the future.
